Notorious (2009) (Exclusive Movie Download)

Notorious is a 2009 American biopic film about the life of hip hop star Christopher Wallace / Biggie Smalls / The Notorious B.I.G., who is played by Jamal Woolard. The film co-stars Angela Bassett as his mother Voletta Wallace, Derek Luke as Sean Combs, and Anthony Mackie as Tupac Shakur. Other roles include Naturi Naughton as Lil' Kim and Antonique Smith as Faith Evans.
The film was released in American theaters on January 16, 2009, by Fox Searchlight Pictures. A teaser trailer was released in late September 2008. An exclusive trailer was played during the BET Hip Hop Awards, showing more of what Biggie does and more of Tupac's part.
The film opens at a party in Los Angeles in March 1997. Christopher Wallace / Biggie Smalls / The Notorious B.I.G. (Jamal Woolard) is seen sitting at his chair smoking a cigar. People, including Faith Evans (Antonique Smith) and Sean Combs (Derek Luke), move to the music on the dance floor. Moments later, Biggie, Combs, and friends are driving away from the party. They stop at a red light, while a friend, Lil' Cease, (Marc John Jefferies) is flirting with women outside. A black Chevrolet Impala pulls up and someone inside fires a single shot at Biggie.
The film then flashes back to Biggie's early childhood in 1984, recounting his tough upbringing in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn. Biggie (Christopher "CJ" Wallace, Jr.) writes several rap songs, enduring the ridicule of some classmates. Biggie then starts selling drugs at the height of the crack epidemic. In 1990, after winning an important rap battle and meeting Lil' Kim (Naturi Naughton) for the first time, Biggie's mother, Voletta (Angela Bassett), throws him out of the house after discovering his involvement with drugs.
In 1992, after spending two years in prison, he goes to see his girlfriend Jan (Julia Pace Mitchell), and their new daughter, T'yanna (Taylor Dior). After reconciling with his mother, he goes to find D-Roc and Lil' Cease and records a demo called "Microphone Murderer."
Shortly thereafter, Biggie meets Sean Combs, an ambitious producer for Uptown Records. Combs promises Biggie that he will sign him to a record deal. Combs, however, will only accept Biggie if he gives up drug dealing. Biggie agrees and then leaves. Biggie nearly ruins his chances, however, a few days later. Biggie, along with his friend, D-Roc, has a run-in with the police which results in Biggie throwing his illegal gun into the bushes. They are caught by the police after a chase. D-Roc eventually decides to "take the fall" for the both of them because he believes that Biggie can succeed as a rapper.
Biggie learns that Combs has lost his job at Uptown Records. Frustrated and upset, he leaves Combs and goes back home only to discover that his mother has breast cancer. Biggie becomes depressed, but soon recovers when Combs begins his own record label, Bad Boy Records, and signs him. Biggie starts recording songs for his first album, Ready To Die, thereafter. He records his first single. Combs refuses the track saying there's another song that Biggie can record. The track is called "Juicy".
Biggie meets Faith Evans at a photoshoot. They begin a whirlwind courtship, marrying several days later. Meanwhile, Biggie continues to ignore his relationship with Jan and their child. When Faith discovers Biggie's relationship with Jan, she goes to confront Biggie, seeing him with yet another woman. The two later reconcile despite the fact that tensions between him, Faith, Jan, and Lil' Kim, yet another of Biggie's paramours, continue to grow.
Biggie begins a friendship with rapper/actor Tupac Shakur (Anthony Mackie). Biggie celebrates his album Ready To Die with Tupac, admiring the other rapper. When Tupac is shot in Quad Studios, however, he blames Combs, Biggie and Bad Boy Records for instigating it. At The Source Awards in 1995, Death Row Records executive, Suge Knight, makes a speech "dissing" Combs and Bad Boy Records, claiming Death Row is the better label. Soon the disagreement escalates into the East Coast-West Coast beef and attacks are made on both sides. The friendship between Biggie and Tupac is ruined. Tupac verbally assaults Biggie at a later time, but leaves when Biggie's security pulls out a pistol.
A track called "Who Shot Ya?" is released, a song which claims to diss Tupac. Biggie and Combs claim that "Who Shot Ya?" was recorded before Tupac was shot, but Suge and Tupac claim otherwise.
After seeing a magazine photo of Tupac and Faith hugging each other, Biggie becomes enraged. He interrupts an interview that is being conducted with Faith, running after Faith. Faith hides from Biggie and Biggie is forced to leave by one of his managers, Mark Pitts (Kevin Phillips). Later, Faith explains that she and Tupac met at the House of Blues and simply took a picture. Biggie tries to renew the relationship, but tensions continue to grow between them.
The East Coast-West Coast rivalry continues until September 1996 when Tupac is murdered in Las Vegas. Sometime afterwards, Biggie calls his mother, Voletta. Voletta states that Tupac probably died as a result of their arguments. Not only is Biggie shaken by Tupac's untimely death, he continues to have relationship problems with Faith, Jan and Lil' Kim. Biggie attempts to resolve these issues by meeting with Jan and their daughter more often.
Biggie and D-Roc renew their friendship after D-Roc is released from prison. Biggie decides to go Los Angeles to promote his upcoming album Life After Death and brings D-Roc and Lil' Cease with him. The three men, along with Combs and Faith, all travel to Los Angeles. Biggie gets several death threats. Biggie reveals that Faith is pregnant.
Biggie is shot and killed moments after calling Lil' Kim to apologize and to set up a meeting with her. A few days later Voletta, Combs, Lil' Cease, D-Roc, Lil' Kim, Faith and others all grieve over the death of Biggie at the funeral.

Street Fighter - The Legend Of Chun (Exclusive Movie Download)

If there's one video game franchise that most definitely does not cry out for the celluloid treatment, it's Capcom's Street Fighter, a series defined by cartoon action figures engaging in two-dimensional, one-on-one brawling. The games have no real story, no real levels, and no character depth, a fact that nonetheless didn't prevent the production of 1994's dreadful Jean-Claude Van Damme-headlined Street Fighter. Fifteen years later, and ostensibly timed to coincide with the release of the series' latest, surefire XBOX and PS3 hit Street Fighter 4, comes Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, a tie-in that focuses squarely on the titular female Asian martial artist with the hair buns and assortment of high-flying kicks. Unsurprising for an adaptation of narrative-free source material, what little plot exists here is of the embarrassingly shallow sort, though since the film is only truly targeted at fans of the interactive games, it's the action and inclusion of recognizable personalities that will likely matter most. In those areas as well, unfortunately, this genre throwaway proves equally inept.
A concert pianist living in Honk Kong, Chun-Li (Kristin Kreuk) has her life upended when her father is abducted by a nefarious mastermind known as Bison (Neal McDonough), who, aside from an evil glare, bears no resemblance to his game namesake. Bison wants to use Chun-Li's father for his business contacts, which will help him take control of the Thai waterfront slums that he wants to develop into luxury real estate. His plans, however, are threatened once Chun-Li receives an ancient Chinese scroll that leads her to a shadowy crime-fighting organization known as The Order of the Web run by Gen (Robin Shou, veteran of that other 2-D fighting game movie, Mortal Kombat). Under Gen's tutelage, she learns to harness her anger, hone her butt-kicking skills, and master the art of throwing balls of concentrated mystical energy. Her gravity-defying, CG-aided supernatural abilities turn out to be the only truly cartoonish element held over from the game, as the film otherwise does away with the series' outlandish costumes and signature exclamations, meaning anyone holding out hope for a "Shoryuken!" will be sorely disappointed.
Having previously helmed the martial arts-heavy Romeo Must Die and Cradle 2 the Grave, as well as brought another iconic game series to the screen with Doom, Andrzej Bartkowiak would seem a logical choice to handle this newest Street Fighter. And true to form, his direction here is as graceless as it was in his prior efforts. Virtually every conversational scene is maxed out with trailer-ready one-liners, which obliterates any hope for emotional engagement with these walking, talking avatars. Worse, though, is that his fighting sequences are dreadfully lethargic, less because they're chopped up by paroxysmal edits (as is usually the case in modern action cinema) than because their choreography is of a dull, unimaginative sort. Chun-Li flashes her signature moves (such as a handstand helicopter kick), but there's no visceral physicality to her or anyone else's skirmishes, whether they involve hordes of faceless gun-toting soldiers – firearms being a constant, puzzling facet of a film based around hand-to-hand combat – or Michael Clarke Duncan's laughing, bellowing bruiser Balrog.
Nonetheless, even taking into consideration the random appearance of Black Eyed Peas member Taboo as masked ninja warrior Vega, there's no facet of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li more outrageously awful than a subplot involving an American Interpol agent named Charlie Nash (Chris Klein) who, paired with sexy Honk Kong detective Maya (Moon Bloodgood), is determined to bring down Bison's criminal empire. With long hair, a five o'-clock shadow, and a cocky macho smile permanently affixed to his face, Klein not only seems to be in an altogether different film, but openly auditioning to play the part of Nicolas Cage in an MTV Movie Awards skit. Klein can't utter a word or flash a badass smirk without being laugh-out-loud funny, to the point that his amusingly appalling performance winds up making the rest of the story – which also features young Bison murdering his pregnant wife in a magical cave so he can transfer all his goodness into the unborn baby and, thus, become a villain without conscience (!) – look reasonably competent in comparison. With any luck, a YouTube compilation of his ridiculousness will be in our future soon

Lil Eddie - Nobodys Fool

The streets have a time-tested way of putting the cold hard steel to a soul. The streets toughen folks to either stay and survive, or to elevate and strive. Brooklyn-born singer/songwriter Edwin "Lil Eddie" Serrano chose the latter and has been steadily ascending the music industry ladder ever since.
Going from living on the streets of Spanish Harlem to releasing his debut album Nobody's Fool at the age of 19, Lil Eddie's accomplishments are inspiration. Nobody's Fool introduces a young Puerto Rican with both a gift and the passion to be "a serious artist with the platinum touch" - to move the masses in his quest to be the first "Latin Soul Sensation." He's already had one song he co-wrote all over urban radio: Carl Thomas' "She Is" (f/ LL Cool J). He also wrote and appeared with P.Diddy on "I'm Looking At You." Now, as the first artist signed to super producer and Bad Boy recording artist Mario "Yellow Man" Winans' Yellow City imprint (via Florida-based Big3 Records), it's Eddie's time to shine.
Eddie co-wrote all of the material on Nobody's Fool. One listen to the dreamy and melodic "Gotta Go," it's clear Lil Eddie has been studying the radio well. Dig even deeper into the album and you will find songs that are "purely Eddie." Take the track "I Don't Think I Ever," a haunting declaration about discovering the true meaning of love which features Winans chiming in on a verse. Most powerful is the title track, "Nobody's Fool," from which the defiantly confident lyrics at the top of this page were pulled. Featuring a blistering rap by Yellow City Entertainment's Lo Down, "Nobody's Fool" tells you all you need to know about the determination Eddie has had to have to make it this far in his career...and in his life. "That song explains why doing this first album was totally necessary for me," Eddie states. "I have a lot to say."

Tupac Amaru Shakur (2 PAC Legacy)

Tupac Amaru Shakur
Born: June 16, 1971
Physical Departure: September 13,1996
Tupac Amaru was named after an Inca Chief, it’s meaning is shining serpent. TupacAmaru Shakur grew up around many influential leaders of the Black Panther Party. His mother, born Alice Faye Williams, who later changed her name to Afeni Shakur, was a section leader in the Black Panther Party. The Black Panther Party spurn froma movement to re-open the New York Public Schools, feed school kids breakfast andgain equal civil rights for African Americans.Tupac was born on June 16, 1971, one month prior to his birth, a pregnant Afeni hadjust defended herself in court and been acquitted of 156 counts charged against herand other members of the Black Panther Party-called the Panther 21. Living in theBronx, she found steady work as a paralegal and raised her son to respect the valueof obtaining knowledge. From childhood, everyone called him the "Black Prince." For misbehaving, he had toread an entire edition of The New York Times. When he was two, his sister, Sekyiwa, was born. Her father, Mutulu, was a Black Panther who, a few months before her birth, had been sentenced to sixty years for a fatal armored car robbery and had to leavethe family.Mutulu went away, the family experienced hard times. No matter where they movedtheBronx, Harlem, with family-Tupac was distressed. "I remember crying all the time.My major thing growing up was I couldn't fit in. Because I was grew up everywhere. Ididn't have any buddies that I grew up with."As time passed, the issue of his father tormented him. He felt "unmanly," he said. Then his cousins started saying he had an effeminate face. "I don't know. I just didn'tfeel hard."
The loneliness began to wear on him. He retreated into writing love songs and poetry."I remember I had a book like a diary. And in that book I said I was going to befamous." He wanted to be an actor. Acting was an escape from the reality of life. Hewas good at it, eager to leave his tough times behind. "The reason why I could get intoacting was because it takes nothing to get out of who I am and go into somebodyelse."His mother enrolled him in the 127th Street Ensemble, a theater group in the Harlemsection of Manhattan, where he landed his first role at age twelve, that of Travis in ARaisin in the Sun. "I lay on a couch and played sleep for the first scene. Then I wokeup and I was the only person onstage. I can remember thinking, "This is the best sh*tin the world!" That got me real high. I was learning a secret: This is what my cousinscan't do."In Baltimore, at age fifteen, he fell into rap; he started writing lyrics, walking with aswagger, and milking his background in New York for all it was worth. People in smalltowns feared the Big Apple's reputation; he called himself MC New York and madepeople think he was a tough guy.He enrolled in the illustrious Baltimore School for the Arts, where he studied actingand ballet with white kids and finally felt "in touch" with himself. "Them white kids hadthings we never seen," he said. "That was the first time I saw there was white peoplewho you could get along with. Before that, I just believed what everyone else said:They were devils. But I loved it. I loved going to school. It taught me a lot. I wasstarting to feel like I really wanted to be an artist.”In the late eighties, Shakur teamed up with Humpty-Hump (a.k.a. Eddie Humphrey,a.k.a. Gregory "Shock-G" Jacobs) and other Oakland-based rappers to create DigitalUnderground, a band intent on massive bass beats and frenetic, Parliament-Funkadelic-style rhythms. In 1990, the group released its debut and best album, SexPackets, a pulsating testament to the boogie power of hip-hop, featuring two classictracks, "Humpty Dance" and "Doowutchyalike." After an EP of re-mixes in 1991, D.U.released Sons of the P and, the following year, The Body-Hat Syndrome, all onTommy Boy Records. In 1992, Shakur entered a most fruitful five-year period. He broke free of D.U. andmade his solo debut, 2Pacalypse Now, a rap album that put him in the notorious, highspeedlane to stardom. That same year he starred in Juice, an acclaimed low-budgetfilm about gangs that introduced him to the Big Screen. In 1993, he recorded andreleased Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z., an album that found Shakur crossing over to thepop charts. The same year, Shakur played a single father and Janet Jackson's loveinterest in the John Singleton film Poetic Justice. In November of 1994, he was shot five times during a robbery. Shakur miraculouslyrecovered from his injuries to produce his most impressive artistic accomplishments, including 1995's Me Against the World, which sold two million copies, and the double-CD All Eyez on Me, which sold nearly three million. As his career arc began a steeprise toward fame and fortune, Shakur was shot and fought for his life beforesuccumbing to his injuries. Though his death was a jolt to his fans and the musiccommunity, Shakur himself often said that he expected he'd die by the sword beforehe reached thirty.Shortly after his murder, The Don Killuminati, under the pseudonym "Makaveli" wasreleased. In January of 1997, Gramercy pictures released Gridlock'd, a film in whichShakur played the role of a drug addict to mostly good reviews. His final film, GangRelated, was released in 1997. Afeni Shakur founded Amaru Entertainment/Recordsin 1997 as a way to legitimately release the huge catalog of unreleased work Tupaccompleted before his physical passing. Amaru Records has released several albumsand a book of Tupac’s original poetry titled “The Rose That Grew From Concrete.” TheTupac Amaru Shakur Foundation, also founded by Afeni Shakur, started with the goalof nurturing the arts in our young people. The vision grew and in 2001,The Foundationembarked on the ambitious goal of building the Tupac Amaru Shakur Center for theArts, an arts art center that will house a museum of artifacts from Tupac’s life &career, an art gallery, education wing, screening room, and a theater for plays andproductions. Around the same period, Amaru Films and MTV started production on afeature documentary on Tupac’s life, narrated in his own words and targeted forrelease in 2003. Several more albums and soundtracks are in production as well.Tupac was recently named by Forbes Magazine as one of the top grossing celebritieswho are no longer physically alive. “Until The End of Time” was the top grossing Hip-Hop Album of 2001 and helped secured Tupac as the top selling Hip-Hop artist (deador alive) ever with over $38 million records sold to date. Although no longer physicallyhere, Tupac’s spirit continues to soar among the stars.
